Delete account
You can delete your account at any time, right in the app or by email. Deletion is permanent.
In the app · immediately
- 1Open Quokkie and tap your profile picture in the top right.
- 2At the very bottom, tap “Delete account”.
- 3Confirm with “Delete permanently”. The app closes afterwards.
Without the app · by email
Write to us with the subject “Delete account” and the phone number you signed in with. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm it to you. For your security, we may ask you to confirm that the number belongs to you.

What is deleted
- Your profile: name, profile picture, online status
- Your phone number and its entry for contact matching
- All text and voice messages you sent, including the audio files
- Your reactions, read receipts and push addresses
- Your support chat with the Quokkie team
- Your sign-in account
What remains
Messages that others sent to you stay visible to them, because they belong to them. We keep no copies of your data. For technical reasons, deleted entries may remain in the database's recovery data for up to one hour; after that they are gone for good.
